Energy Transition, Net Zero, Decarbonisation. However it is termed, it represents a vital shift across the global oil and gas industry. But when it comes to tangibly addressing the Energy Transition, what does that look like?
For Dolphin Drilling, our ISO: 50001 Energy Management Systems certification sums up our approach to a sustainable industry. The first drilling contractor to achieve this certification, it reflects the programme of continuous improvement which is designed to maximise performance whilst minimising our carbon footprint.
We’ve made sustainability a part of our culture, incorporating it into our daily operations and business activities, which are aligned with several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our Climate Roadmap
Outlining Dolphin Drilling’s contribution to a sustainable future, which reduces our CO₂ footprint, our Climate Roadmap focuses on:
“We might be the first drilling company to achieve ISO50001:18, but we hope we won’t be the last.”
Greener for the Future
Our Energy Management Team is committed to the effective implementation of our energy management system and for delivering energy performance improvement.
The team embodies our ‘Greener for the Future’ key success factor, which aims to identify initiatives that build on our environmentally friendly fleet and implement improvements throughout the business to reduce our overall environmental impact.
“This is about the whole value chain. Our Energy Management goals not only develop our business but also impact upon the sustainable future of the wider industry.”
